Saling Asah vzw is a Belgian - Balinese - Indonesian music group, founded in June 1998, with the aim of training those who are interested into motivated musicians and dancers, and thus forming a professional ensemble of Balinese performing arts.

Door het intussen grote repertoire van traditionele Balinese werken en modernere, in België gecomponeerde stukken, kan Saling Asah een zeer gevuld programma brengen.

Voor info of boekingen nodigen wij u graag uit met ons contact op te nemen, waarna wij zo snel mogelijk contact opnemen ivm mogelijkheden, praktische afspraken en voorwaarden. Het is altijd mogelijk na afspraak een oefening bij te wonen teneinde een idee te krijgen van van ons repertoire.

To realise this Saling Asah organises weekly courses in several Indonesian gamelanensembles, of which Balinese Gamelan Gong kebyar is the main, and also the most important musicensemble on the island of Bali.

Under the musical leadership of the Balinese musician I Made Agus Wardana the members are being thought the Balinese musical arts.

By means of concerts, demonstrations and workshops we can thus make the Balinese music and dance more known for the common Belgian (European) public, and also set up a coöperation between Belgian and Balinese artists. Our name Saling Asah refers as a matter of fact also to this musical union between artists.

In de wereld bekend omgeving van de Pairi Daiza zoo/natuurpark en vooral in de unieke Balische tempel die daar gebouwd werd, SALING ASAH maakt deel uit van de multi-ethnische 'ESTIVALES 2017', een weekend lang voorstellingen die begint op vrijdag om 18u00 tot 22u00, gespreid over heel het park.
